I am very excited to announce, starting Sunday, twice a week I will post a video teaching frugal survival plans and techniques. My husband will host the video class series, covering almost every topic related to surviving, in any emergency situation. He is an extreme survivalist, with 9 years military training and raised in the mountains of Eastern Oregon. He will be teaching us how to survive and prepare yourself and your family for disaster while still being frugal. Each video class will cover one topic on survival.

What topic would like to learn more about on survival?

Olive Garden Copycat Sauce–It tastes soooooo good! I made it the other night, worth a try!

Olive Garden Alfredo Sauce is delicious, but here’s how you recreate the flavor of their delicious sauce in the comfort of your own kitchen for a mere fraction of the price.

You’ll Need:
1 pkg Pasta (penne or fettuccine)
1 stick of butter
1 clove of minced garlic
1 pint of heavy cream
1 cup of fresh Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp cream cheese
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp white pepper

Cook the Pasta al dente. (to your taste preference!)

While the pasta is cooking, Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for two minutes stirring constantly, then add in heavy cream and cream cheese, stirring constantly. Heat until the mixture begins to bubble along the sides, but do not boil.

Add in Parmesan Cheese, and sprinkle liberally with salt and pepper. Continue stirring until the sauce is fully incorporated, but do not boil it as that will cause the cream to curdle.

Glad I am not the average, spending $146-$289 /week on Grocery’s.

I used to spend this much, now that I am aware of my spending habits, using coupons and maximizing on sales; my weekly cost is so LOW, and I have a stock- even for a family of 7. Interesting article.

3. Music, even store music, makes life more enjoyable.

4. There is always someone there to help- if you ask.

5. Most people dont look like the ones in Magazines.

6. If you dont go for what you want, someone else will.

7. DO NOT take options and or freedom for granted.

8. Most people are worried about themselves, not what they think about you.

9. People are inpatient.
